Sain. Richard,

for a time you walked

the roads of the our earth,

you prayed

in the silence of our Churches,

you served with love and intelligence

the sick in our houses,

and you welcomed everyone who came to see you.

Today,

as your patients once sought you,

I seek you and turn to you

in order that you help me heal

in body and spirit

and obtain for me

your same faith from the Lord.
